HOME REPAIR PROGRAMS

Group Workcamps

SELF has successfully partnered with the national Group Workcamps Foundation to hold Home Repair Project in both Hamilton and Middletown.

During the projects, more than 400 youths and chaperones from around the country perform home repairs for low-income and elderly residents who cannot do the work themselves. To date, more than 100 homeowners have been helped.

The next camp is scheduled for the City of Hamilton from July 15 to July 20, 2012. Local volunteers are needed to help with coordinating the work and making the visitors feel welcome. Donations are now being accepted for the materials budget as well.

If you would like to join the planning committee, please contact John Post at 513-820-5024 or
jpost@selfhelps.org.

If you are interested in helping with this project but are not able to volunteer your time, please consider making a donation. Supporters can donate to this effort by making checks payable to "SELF's Hamilton Home Repair" and mailing them to P.O. Box 1322, Hamilton, Ohio 45012. You can also make an online donation using PayPal by clicking the "Donate" button at left. Please designate the Home Repair project in the "notes to seller" before submitting the transaction.
