Self-sufficiency Case Management – SELF provides holistic self-sufficiency case management through which clients overcome life’s barriers to economic independence. Programs such as Empower One in Oxford, Ohio and Project 2 Empower in the rest of the county help eligible families to map strategies for achieving goals. |

Job Transportation – SELF provides self-sufficiency
case management clients with employment transportation so
that those who find jobs are better able to keep them. |

Individual Development Account (IDA) Program –
SELF's IDA program helps low- to moderate-income families
achieve home ownership, higher education, or small business
ownership through matched savings accounts. |

Crisis Alleviation – For many who do not have the money to meet daily needs, life becomes a cycle of crises. Through emergency assistance, especially for utilities, immediate crises are alleviated so that root problems, such as low-paying jobs or unemployment, can be attacked through SELF’s other programs. |

Education-based Services – SELF provides help with school supplies in August in partnership with other organizations. |

Interview-Quality Clothing Closet – SELF has an interview-quality clothing closet available to low-income individuals preparing for job interviews or in need of business attire for work. SELF is happy to accept donations of gently-worn business attire. Please call the office if you have clothing you would like to donate. |

Holiday Adopt-a-Family Program – Families actively working toward self-sufficiency have a brighter holiday through SELF’s Adopt-a-Family program. If you would like to sponsor a low-income family this holiday season, please call the office. |

Information and Referral – If SELF does not provide the service you need, chances are staff can refer you to someone who does. Our staff provide thousands of referrals every year for services such as mental health assessments, substance abuse counseling, training for specialized occupations, and emergency services. |
